OUT OF TOWN COMEDY

3- Audiences’ funny games participating: all audiences in any ages and gender are chosen to participate in the funny games during the show in order to make the atmosphere of the show look a lot happier. Funny games must be changed frequently in order to avoid over expenses. The chosen audiences are being make up and would also receive prizes give away. 4- CTN comedy group’s performance directed by Mr. SOVANN RITHY: the performance most of the time is related to the everyday life of the people living in the chosen place for shooting. The pieces of the information related to the story in the performance were given by village chief or commune chief. The representative of the show discussed with the village chief and then reported the information to the show producer to write the story for performance. In this segment before the performance starts there is a video showing of villager’s everyday life.

Filmed throughout Cambodia, Out of Town Comedy is a travelling variety show that brings the best of CTN’s entertainment out of the studio and into the community. Hosted by Sokea, B.I.G. and Gigi, Out of Town Comedy is exactly what it says, a comedy and variety show that’s filmed outside Phnom Penh before a live audience in the provinces of Cambodia. Featuring stories from the MCs, sketch comedy from some of Cambodia’s best comedians, health and welfare tips and audience participation as well as video about the daily lives of the local audience, Out of Town Comedy is a regularly travelling circus of entertainment and information which opens the world of CTN’s Entertainment Department to all the people of Cambodia.

Goal: The goal of the show is to entertain the audience through: - traveling to the cities and provinces through out Cambodia to shoot the activities for the show - making the audiences feel close to the show - providing educational tips related to health care, environment, and also general knowledge to the people out there Plan: - MCs’ funny stories narrating - Audiences’ funny games participating - CTN comedy group’s performance Strategy: 1- Place for shooting process: a representative for the show travels in advance to a city or province in which the shooting process will take place in order to find the right location; the location would be - town center, pagoda, school...etc - one day shooting for 2 weeks airing 2- MCs’ funny stories narrating: this segment has two male MCs and one female Mc - Mr. Duong Sok Kea, Mr. B.I.G , Miss. Gigi - After the three MCs introducing the show each of them narrates one funny story - The funny stories must related to some negative points of the chosen places for shooting process
