PERSONAL BIOGRAPHIC INFORMATIONMrs. ING SOVANLY Director of Neary Khmer Association for Health and Vocational Training (NKA) Date of Birth : September 07, 1973 Present Age : 37 Marital Status : Married, 2 daughters, elder daughter is 4 and younger daughter is 2 Resume: I was born in quarter No. 3, Phnom Penh. During Pol Pot regime, I lived at Kampong Thom province, after liberation on January 07, 1979, I returned to live at Teuk Thla quarter, Sen Sok district, Phnom Penh. Since 1983 to 1988, I learnt helping my mother’s trade for 62 kinds such as selling porridge, lotus nut, candy, deep fried wrapped banana in Ambok, fish ball, firewood, duck egg, sausage, dried beef, ice in syrup and other things etc., and then I worked as the accountant for Shangri-La Hotel where was situated at Tuolkork district before and after working for the hotel, I took my time to teach Thai language at night shift and afterward, I worked as the glasses saleswoman at Lieng Sreng Optic Shop, I worked non-stop until I have successfully passed high school. I have completed high school in Cambodia and then I lived in Thailand with my father in 1989 and continued my study at Natural Agriculture at Mejo Chiang Mai School, graduated Master Degree and after that studied the research of several natural agriculture with the agricultural officials of Chiang Ray province and also studied and researched the EM natural agriculture with Japanese and Thai and then I saw that EM natural fertilizer is really very important for agriculture. In 1999 I returned to Cambodia and operated a beauty salon named Leang Ly where as the natural beauty salon trained Cambodian women the natural beauty skill for 130 women and Leang Ly Enterprise (Chhouk Sar) produced natural soap. After that I helped developing agricultural to grow like the world’s developed countries. Due to Cambodia is an agricultural country, most growing rice, the hundreds of crops, generally Cambodian rice field lands are hotter like in the provinces of Takeo, Kampong Speu, Battambang, Svay Rieng etc., the land becomes sand mixed fertile soil, cropping without good yield, furthermore the farmers turned to use the chemical fertilizer and poison because it is easy to use with quick yield, but for longer time will spend either money or damage the land and either farmers or consumers. Due to loving national society like the people, Cambodian farmers and my efforts, I have also established an association named Neary Khmer Association for Health and Vocational Training to share knowledge, as well as good experience in agriculture, beauty health and environment to the people, farmers, as well as Cambodian women to obtain new technique of EM technology of Dr. Prof. Higa, he found this excellent breakout for agricultural implementation, livestock of all kinds and clean environment enabling the Cambodian people to have work or an occupation to support life, particularly good health, good environment, good weather, water, food, fish, fruits, vegetables without chemical substance. History of Neary Khmer Association for Health and Vocational TrainingThe Neary Khmer Association for Health and Vocational Training was founded on January 30, 2004 leading agricultural technique using EM natural fertilizer that is the microbe-organic extracted the useful kind to use in improving and preventing the wild factor by using good bacteria to kill bad bacteria in natural formula to prevent the nature.This fertilizer technology has many countries in the world are applying such as the United States, France, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Lao etc., there are 160 countries in the world accept and take EM technology to us including Cambodia as well. And the EM technology discovers by Dr. Prof. Teruo Higa in agriculture in 1980 through the idea of Mr. Mokichi Okada. In 1980, Japan included in the study program on EM at the University of Ryukyus in Okinawa governed by Dr. Prof. Higa in agriculture. On 21 February 2005, Cambodia started EM natural fertilizer agriculture technical education training initially by Neary Khmer Association for Health and Vocational Training. Activity of Neary Khmer Association for Health and Vocational TrainingThe association holds the EM natural fertilizer agricultural technical training for 108 courses in Phnom Penh and in the other provinces such as Siem Reap, Kandal, Kampong Cham, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Thom, Pursat, Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, Prey Veng, Takeo, Kampong Speru, Svay Rieng etc., with total 13,670 tranees.The trainees learnt the EM natural fertilizer technical skill shared this knowledge to practice to grow vegetables, fruits, rubber, livestock, clean environment at residences, ministries, departments successfully 89 percent and made our people and nation gets profit such as economy, health, good environment, raw materials for EM natural fertilizer in Cambodia. Presently the association in cooperation with Ministry of Environment, Municipality of Phnom Penh, the institution concerned and TV stations like CTN, TV9, TV 5, KTV by training the people in Phnom Penh to know how to use EM fertilizer in cleaning environment at its residence as well as using to clean dishes or kitchen items, bathroom, making the water flowing through the culvert without bad smell and do not lay, the kitchen waste can be used as the EM natural fertilizer, eliminate the sewage, litter pile at the public places causing Phnom Penh has good environment and the people also have good health. Concept of Neary Khmer Association for Health and Vocational TrainingThe Neary Khmer Association for Health and Vocational Training conducts so far to date due to:- Support from father of Mrs. Ing Sovanly either budget or mental force as well as her own budget. - EM natural fertilizer agricultural technical assistance from: 1. APNAN (Asia Pacific Natural Agriculture Network) 2. EMRO (EM Research Organization, Inc) 3. INFRC (International Nature Faring Research Center) 4. Dr. Prof. Reruo Higa, the intellect found EM - The unpaid staffs of association including monks, the members of association - Territorial authority, ministry concerned, royal government - Assistance from Ministry of Environment dated 22 December 2005 No. 441 Sor Chor Nor En by H.E Dr. MOK MARETH, Senior Minister and Minister of Environment authorized the association to invite the Japanese expert to produce EM at the association - Support from H.E KEAT CHHON, Senior Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance - H.E Maj. Gen. KVAN SEAM, Deputy Director of Joint Staff and as Commander of Engineering Headquarters, High Command of Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and as the advisor to Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN - Incentive from Samdech Akka Moha Sena padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia handed encouragement letter on chance of international women’s day March 08, 2006. Goals of Neary Khmer Association for Health and Vocational Training- Wants Cambodian farmers know how to use and produce EM natural fertilizer by themselves to protect health environment and increase income in the household through reduction of cost for the fertilizer usage, spend less, more profit. Do not waste time in production, producing EM natural fertilizer using local raw materials, particularly plants nearby the house using for all kinds of crops (vegetable, fruits, rice, rubber, corn...)- Help alleviate the poverty of the people though helping develop Cambodian agricultural under the policy of the royal government using EM natural fertilizer - Help reduce the household violence - Want all kinds of vegetables, fruits in Cambodia have not poison or chemical substance - Do not danger to the producers (farmers) - Do not danger to the consumers - The products can be competitive in the national and international markets - Want the Cambodia environment is good either in water, ground, air - Help reduce the unemployment and emigration of the farmers - Want the woman have their own vocation to avoid trafficking etc |
